Honestly, Sachin Singh is one of the worst teachers on campus. He tries to act all professional and cool, but he’s actually just rude, unfriendly, and super hard to deal with. Everyone in my class can’t stand him, and we’re all kind of scared of him. Most of us just agree with whatever he says because the vibe he creates is so oppressive.
People are honestly scared to complain about him to any other teacher because he’s the course instructor, and we’re afraid he’ll cut our marks or be partial. It’s like he holds all the power, and if you speak up, you might pay for it later.
Like, for example, he won’t let anyone into class even if you’re literally 1 minute late, even if it’s an 8 a.m. class. He’s obsessed with control. Then, in the ManPro lab, one of my friends wasn’t wearing a lab coat, but the actual lab instructor didn’t care at all everything was fine. But Sachin, who was just walking by, had to make a huge scene, disrupting the whole class while the teacher was actually teaching. He told my friend to leave the lab. The lab instructor was actually pissed at him for doing that. It’s ridiculous.
He’s not professional at all just selfish and rude, hiding behind this fake “professional” persona. One of my friends was also late to show his copy because he was sick, and he begged to be allowed to show it, but Sachin didn’t care at all. He basically told him to get lost. Even the senior ManPro/ED lab instructors don’t like him. I overheard one of them call him immature in front of the students.
And then in the Manufacture Process viva? Ugh. It’s even worse. He bullies and taunts students just for fun. It’s not even about giving feedback it’s like he just enjoys making people uncomfortable. He’ll laugh at your work, mock your answers, and make personal comments that have nothing to do with the subject. It’s like he’s looking for any excuse to embarrass you. He’s straight-up sadistic, just enjoying watching students squirm. It’s cruel, honestly.
At the end of the day, he’s just bitter, frustrated, and way too controlling. Most of us just put up with him because he’s such a pain. Honestly, I can’t stand him not just as a teacher, but as a person. He’s made personal, messed-up comments about students in class a bunch of times this semester.
And don’t even get me started on his assistant. The assistant is basically his personal cheerleader, constantly nagging us to listen to Sachin, even when no one is making noise. If you don’t listen, the assistant will go run and report you to him. It’s like a weird power trip.
One of the most annoying things is that Sachin is fully aware that everyone dislikes him. He’s said it in class a bunch of times, like, "Go check me up online, ask the seniors." He says it like he’s above it all, but it just shows he knows people can’t stand him and doesn’t care. It’s like he’s trying to act cool about it, but really, it just makes him seem even more toxic and self-absorbed.
If anyone from DOAA or DOSAA sees this, seriously, please keep an eye on him. He’s a terrible person, at least when it comes to how he treats students. I’m honestly thinking about complaining to DOAA, but I’m kind of scared they’ll expose my email or make it public. If anyone else is going through the same thing, feel free to share this post.
And to the 1st-year TIET 2030 batch, just be careful with him. Don’t let him walk all over you. You don’t have to put up with that crap.
