The damage reports were way overblown
There was a bunch of fearmongering a few days ago about spine damage and some sort of printer issue severely damaging cover A of Absolute Batman #20 and Absolute Martian Manhunter #11. After picking up my own copies from an LCS today... they're completely fine. Manhunter has a slight crease around the top staple and any potential wear on Batman is literally invisible to me.
If anyone got hit significantly worse, feel free to share your horror stories in the comments, but I came away from this week pretty happy.
