I don't know what to title this.
Everyone gets that Chara is nonbinary in canon but can we please respect and separate fanfiction and fan art from the source material because they aren't going to be canon. If I could bold, italicize, circle and underline the words fan and fiction I could because it's honestly very upsetting and depressing to see people correct Chara's gender on things that do not have any affect on canon. I'm not trying to start a gender debate because I'm not denying Chara to be canonically nonbinary, just respect individual fanfiction and fan art as is rather than enforcing people to follow canon when they don't necessarily have to. I think every type of Chara should be welcome, accepted and respected. It would make the fandom a much better place.
