I got an offer, passed the paid work trial, accepted the contract and started the background check (four days ago). The automated version apparently does not work for my country, so I was asked by the system to get a physical document myself and upload it (two days ago). I have not been able to do this yet as it obviously takes some time (I needed to make an appointment at the respective office etc). Now, my offer has been revoked. Melvin says that the requirements have changed, the decision is final and refuses to let me speak to a human. I assume the problem is that the automated background check failed, but this had nothing to do with me. Do I have a chance of getting this sorted? How do I get through to a human?
