started building this open-source react ui library when i was 17

started building an open-source react ui library called plainframe ui at 17 as one of my projects for university applications and ended up putting way more time into it than i originally expected 😭

been focusing a lot on:

  • polished ui design
  • animations/interactions
  • reusable components
  • clean developer experience
  • building a large set of modern react components

also recently added an interactive playground for testing components and themes in real time

still actively improving the project, but wanted to finally share it here and get feedback from other frontend devs

built an interactive playground for my open-source react ui library

been working on an open-source react ui library called plainframe ui and recently added an interactive playground for testing components, props, themes, and customization in real time

one of my main goals with the library is making customization feel easier without constantly fighting overrides or rewriting styles

would genuinely love feedback from other frontend devs on both the playground and the component system overall
