I am a third year non-music major at UBC, and I might audition for the orchestra for the upcoming year! I just have some questions, and any information would be helpful.

1. How competitive is it/what is the acceptance rate? I am ARCT level in my instrument (strings), and is everyone else this level also? Or is there a diversity of levels?

2. Is it like more like a program, or a course that gives out grades? If so, how are you graded in it? I want to go to grad school so my gpa is very important.
