Received my threaded barrel today. Is it normal for it to ship with two O-rings? One is a little bigger than the other.

I removed the larger one and tried to hand tighten the thread protector, but it won’t make it to the o-ring that’s seated into the shoulder. I’ve backed it out numerous times while cleaning the threads in between each pass, but it doesn’t want to go much further.

Is it possible that I received a thread protector not meant for the Dagger? Or is it just a tolerance issue? If the latter, what are my options to correct it?
