Job Placement Advice

So im out of state for Texas. My dream school was Purdue for engineering and I got waitlisted. But in the last couple months ive went from not considering TAMU at all to signing up for their corps of cadets. I’m still waiting on Purdue but TAMU has grown on me even thought I’ve never visited. I’m out of state for both btwZ I applied to UT as well but got rejected. Ik Purdue is more prestigious overall than TAMU but I was wondering how job placement and all will be for engineers. Am I basically guaranteed a job in Texas? No one in my school or area is going to TAMU and it is kind of embarrassing even though ik TAMU is still a good school cuz ppl ik r going to Purdue, uiuc, Berkeley, ut, Georgia tech, upenn, etc.

I’m just looking for signs that I’ll have a good time here and get a great job, love the place and stuff.

Classes questions as an incoming freshman

So I’ve decided to join the corps. I’ll also be going thru the ETAM process. I had some questions about what classes I’ll be taking my first year. Ik I need to take two math, two science, and two engineering. That’s one of each per semester. I’ll also need to take an ROTC class per semester im assuming?

In addition to this, what gen Ed’s would I have to take? I don’t want to overwhelm myself with classes because I want to get the 3.75 auto admit and balance my life with the corps and also have free time. Since im already looking at like 4 classes a semester, what more do I need to take? Any English classes? Social studies? Anything I can just take to gpa optimize? I’d appreciate some guidance cuz I didn’t do too good on my social studies APs this year.

So I’m out of state and planning to go through the ETAM process at TAMU for aerospace engineering this fall. I was also planning to join the corps as I’ll also vet some benefits like dorms and in state tuition.

A few weeks ago, I applied to the Sounding and Rocketry team and they accepted me into their valor team. I had a few questions. Is it doable to manage the corps, this club, and ETAM? Is this common?

Also, is being fb accepted into valor good? Like it was my third choice I believe and they don’t interview for admission. I’ve had experience in hs w aerial vehicle clubs and stuff so maybe this is why they accepted me? Is it really easy to get into valor? Idk if they js accept everyone or if I should be proud cuz I need to know if it’s worth doing this alongside the corps or not.
