Advice needed

I work in animal care so I’ve done my fair share of euthanasia and geriatric animal care, I’m not stranger to this but it feels so different with my sweet girl. She is 16 and been with me since I was 10. We noticed since December she had slowed down noticeably, so we started her on adequan 2x a week for 4 weeks this last month. Within two weeks, she had an episode where we think she fell off the couch and she just hasn’t recovered. We’re taking it day by day, but within days things she enjoyed and did well 2 weeks ago have gone away. She has terrible teeth but we elected not to put her through another dental extraction since we didn’t think her body could take it again. She can still get up but takes a while. We switched her to ground turkey and soaked kibble, and the only thing that can get her up is banana and peanut butter. She can still go potty by herself and still goes on a long walk in the morning but the rest of her day is slow and sleepy. But her hind leg instability combined with her teeth problems has me worried.
The vet said we could try librela to keep her comfortable in her last days, weeks, months. any opinions on this? She doesn’t have any known nerve issues. Any stories on trying librela this late into the game?
