Help for PC BUILD

Hey everyone,

I’m finishing my first serious high-end PC build and I’d love some honest feedback before I lock everything in.
Main goal: 1440p high refresh gaming, multitasking, productivity, and maybe some light AI/content creation later.

Component

Model

Case
Lian Li Lancool 217
GPU
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 / 5070 Ti — still confirming exact model
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard
MSI X870E Gaming Plus WiFi
RAM
Lexar Thor DDR5 32GB
Storage
Lexar NM790 2TB NVMe Gen4
PSU
Thermaltake Toughpower GT 850W Gold
CPU Cooler
be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5
What do you think?

Is this build well balanced or did I go too hard on some parts?

Should I upgrade to 64GB RAM, add extra fans, or change anything before building it?

Also curious if the Dark Rock Pro 5 is enough for the 9800X3D and if 850W is the right PSU choice.

Roast it, rate it, or tell me what you’d change.

Rate my first high-end gaming build — Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5070 Ti

Hi everyone,

I’m building a new gaming/productivity PC and would like your opinion on the overall balance, compatibility, airflow and possible upgrades.

Main use: 1440p gaming, multitasking, productivity,

| Case | Lian Li Lancool 217 |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 / 5070 Ti — still confirming exact model |
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D |
| Motherboard | MSI X870E Gaming Plus WiFi |
| RAM | Lexar Thor DDR5 32GB |
| Storage | Lexar NM790 2TB NVMe Gen4 |
| PSU | Thermaltake Toughpower GT 850W Gold |
| CPU Cooler | be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 |

I’m especially wondering about:

- Is 850W enough for this build?
- Should I upgrade to 64GB RAM or is 32GB still fine?
- Is the Dark Rock Pro 5 enough for the 9800X3D?
- Do I need to add extra fans to the Lancool 217, or are the stock fans enough?
- Any compatibility issues I should watch out for?

Thanks in advance — happy to hear any suggestions before I finish the build.
