Review phone call
Hi, I’m new here and I just wanted to get other people’s feedback/experience.
Bit of back story: So at the start of this year I was diagnosed with combined ADHD (mix of both the hyper side and the slower side of ADHD) and dyslexia. I also don’t like talking to people who I don’t know and this even goes for people I do know, when I don’t know what to say or do I get nervous and fidget to try distract myself.
e.g
If I get a message from someone who I know or don’t know, I will go to my parent and ask what do I say as I don’t want to say the wrong thing or not word it right and it make no sense to them.
So I had my parent ring PIP after getting diagnosed with both of them and I was sent a form to fill out and provide evidence to support it and send back, which I did and got a message around the middle of last month from PIP saying they had booked a face-face appointment but I had no way of getting there so it was changed to a phone call, I have had the phone call ( with my parent ) and I was told it can take up to 8 weeks for a decision and I know they can say no for the smallest thing ever.
Anyone who has feedback/advice on their experience waiting for a decision, roughly how long did it take for them to make a decision for you. (I know it’s different for everyone)
