In uni I used to complain about deadlines, 8am classes, strict teachers and "no free time." But now I would give anything to go back to that level of difficulty. My biggest problem in uni was submitting an assignment and projects I mostly copied at 11th hour. Now I sit at my laptop at 4am daily, on a WFH shift, eating whatever I can find because I don't have the time or energy to think about food properly. We called that life stressful. We had absolutely no idea.

And it's not even just the work. In uni your friends were always there, same campus, same cafe, same chaotic routine. You'd sit for hours playing COD and somehow it was the best time of your life. Now everyone is scattered, everyone is "busy," meetups get planned and cancelled three times before they die quietly in the group chat. You're earning money finally, which is great, but you're too exhausted to enjoy it. Too tired on weekdays, and before you know it another month is gone. Uni felt like it lasted forever. Professional life is just disappearing in front of your eyes. 😔
