We’re currently exploring the idea of starting a business focused on buying and trading second-hand smartphones here in the Philippines, and we wanted to get honest feedback from the local tech community first before fully launching.

The concept is simple:

• We buy pre-owned phones directly from users
• Fast quotation & same-day payment
• Open to slightly used, old flagship models, extra phones, or upgrade units
• Planning to focus on fair pricing + hassle-free transactions

Before moving forward, we wanted to ask:

• What matters most to you?
• What are your biggest concerns when dealing with buyers/resellers?
• What makes you trust a second-hand phone business?
• Would you prefer meetup, pickup, or courier transaction?
• What brands/models do you usually upgrade from?

We also want to understand:

• Why some people choose Facebook Marketplace/Greenhills instead
• Bad experiences you’ve had with buy-and-sell transactions
• Features/services you wish existed in the PH second-hand market
