This is not at all a flex as champ is barely the beginning/bottom of high skill rl play... it is more me just being incredibly happy.
Finally after a total of 186h in game! My tm8 and I were able to lock the tittle in!
I started playing casually for about a month on November 2024, and ended up not playing (my friends and I got busy, and so my titles was 16 gold (my peak rank back then was silver but a friend "boosted" me), fast forwarding to this year, I met a guy through Discord who also liked the game, and within a couple of days we were plat, and then some time later (late last season) Diamond, and not long after (early this season) we reached Champ! (Mind you, our peak was plat and we just had great chemistry and did plenty of training packs).
Gladly today we were rejoiced to finally get the Pentathlon tags for S22 Champs! We won every match, dominated hard and didn't even need to go through 3rd game in semis or finals...
We don't see ourselves reaching GC, but we also never thought leaving low Diamond, so who knows?
