My progress in tackling the Deviant quests in High Rank endgame (GS pov, 200hr in)

After completing some of the toughest challenges in High Rank endgame (the Hyper Metal Rath quests were a huge step-up from anything else till that point), I decided to complete some, if not all, of the Deviant quests before proceeding to G-Rank.

Started with Dreadking, easily countered with breaking the winds + flash bomb spamming. The Metal Rath quests had prepared me enough for this.

Then, Silverwind Nargacuga. This bastard was really tough. Second only to the Hyper Metal Raths, if I may add. The X hunt was a nightmare, but eventually I managed.

Thunderlord Zinogre was much easier with its good windows and clear tells.

Crystalbeard Uragaan was boring and somewhat frustrating (not as much as Silverwind, though) but not really a problem. Big, slow monsters are really doable with GS.

Deadye Garuga is no big deal, finishing it as I'm writing this.

Finally, I'll move on to Hellblade Glavenus and probably call it a day. Maybe also do Drilltusk Tetsucabra because I really liked this monster. I will not bother with maxing Arzuros, Hermitaur, Lagombi, Rathian, Tigrex, wasn't too thrilled by them or their challenge.

Will Hellblade prove to be harder than Silverwind? If yes, I'm glad I saved it for last! What was your experience in High Rank? Fast weapons with dodge probable weren't that bothered by Silverwind...Who got you sweating, rethinking strategies, etc.? Again, I'm not talking about G-Rank where I believe the real struggle begins, just the High Rank Deviant difficulties you encountered during your first plaulythrough!

Oh, and happy hunting y'all!

Which deviants are the best balance of fun/challenge for High Rank endgame? Any top-5 lists from all the GS enjoyers out there?
