Recently obtained POA for my mother (in WA) who has been in a care facility since her 50’s. When she was initially placed, there was a “special needs trust” set up for my mother’s behalf. Her father (in OR) is not in the best of health, in a care facility himself, senile, going through a divorce, and now taking money from said account. The trustees are my soon to be ex grandma, then great aunt (grandfathers sister, also not in the best of health), then her children. Great Aunt is on board with me taking over all aspect of my mother’s care.

Do I have any options here?
