Sharing the exact resume format that got me multiple IT Support interviews — feedback welcome
Hey, I've been in IT support and spent a lot of
time figuring out what resume format actually works
for helpdesk and IT support roles.
Here's what I learned:
Keep it one page max
Lead with a strong summary mentioning your
specific tools (Active Directory, O365, etc.)
Use numbers — "resolved 200+ tickets monthly"
beats "handled tickets"
ATS systems filter out fancy designs —
plain clean layouts win
Certifications section is crucial — even
CompTIA A+ makes a big difference
