I am working on a single pamphlet-style booklet that will be hand-bound. The cover art and font are very delicate, and the art is a black-and-white line drawing. I've done a lot of amateur design work, but I'm not especially creative with color, and I find myself at a loss because the color of the cover could be anything—there's nothing in the art to suggest a direction. Also, I'm not usually delicate or subtle, so this is a stretch for me.

I'd love thoughts on both paper—whether there is a specific texture or style of cover paper you think would work well with such a delicate design, and whether there is a color you think would work well. The paper could be colored, but the color can also be part of the print.

The art and text colors aren't fixed, either.

I love the creativity I see here. You fill me with ideas for things I'd love to try someday. Thanks.
