I have four Soeur Therese hydrangeas and they’re all different sizes. I’d like to prune them to be uniform, but I’m concerned I’ll ruin next year’s bloom if I cut the bigger ones back too far. Don’t worry: I’ll do this in late summer/early autumn. Will cutting the largest bush back by 1/3 prevent it from blooming as much next year?
