Had these 3 spruce planted about a year ago in order to provide some privacy from the lot next door. Shortly after them being planted, the neighbors cleared their lot to build a house so the trees were a pretty exposed for a harsh winter (Pocono Lake, PA) and look pretty unhappy. Someone came to look at them and blamed the cold rather than any other disease. We have added more mulch and been trying to keep them well watered. Is there any chance they survive? If they do survive, will the brown areas fill in? If not, we may just pay to replace them as they are not warranteed.
Pics include one with all 3 and then the individual trees. The first isn’t as bad as the 2nd 2.
Recommendations for how to revive them.
