I'll be in Greece next week, and I am hoping to get away from Athens for a few days. What I have in mind is a town that feels remote with idyllic pastoral hills and nature nearby, you know, the kind of nature we encounter in bucolic poetry like Theocritus. I understand if there are no such places with easy transit connections to Athens, so I am curious about wherever else people might suggest, too, but thought I'd ask.
