Was the biggest reason Minnesota won games 2, 3 and 4. Played elite individual defense on Jokic, who shot 40%, 27% and 36% while still providing elite rim protection, anchoring Minnesota's defense that suffocated Denver's top ranked offense.

A lot of people are really excited to slander Jokic after a bad series but Jokic's poor play is largely because of how great Rudy was on defense that entire series. I know nobody after the series is going to start off by hyping up Rudy and his greatness on defense, that's just not how it goes but there's maybe one other current player that could shut down Jokic like that for multiple games. I think Gobert cemented himself as a top 10 defensive player of all time.
