My landlord installed solar panels and now instead of MSEB bill, he calculates electricity himself and tells us how much to pay.

Issue is units have suddenly increased compared to before, and his calculation doesn’t seem proper. I tried asking but he started explaining how much he bears and bla bla stuff.

Funny part is he’s an engineering college professor and earns good money.

Don’t want to argue much because he already keeps increasing rent and always has tenants ready, so shifting again will cost me.

Just frustrated paying extra unnecessary. Anyone faced similar situation?
