Will I face a lot of depreciation buying a 2016 vw golf r line 2.0l diesel with pan roof at 70k miles for £10k.

Searching around for a new car and it feels you can’t get anything decent for under 10k and if you’re close to it the cars are usually around the 10 year old mark.

I’m trying to get something a bit nippy under insurance group 25 that runs well.

Also looked at some 318d’s for similar money and mileage but hard to find and usually older.

Any thoughts.
