Spent the last few weeks redesigning my study platform to feel less overwhelming for students
Been quietly redesigning a study platform called QuillGlow over the past few weeks and finally pushed the update live.
Main focus wasn’t adding flashy features — mostly improving the overall experience so it feels cleaner, calmer, and easier to stay focused for long study sessions.
A few things that changed:
- redesigned dashboard & planner
- better dark mode readability
- customizable themes/colors
- smoother navigation & layouts
- improved study-together/community areas
- cleaner overall UI/UX across the app
One thing I realized while building it is that students already have enough stress. Most study tools feel cluttered or overly “productivity obsessed”, so the redesign was more about making everything feel lighter and easier to use daily.
Still improving things based on feedback, but the difference compared to the old version honestly feels huge now.
