I’ve liked the idea of building my own dwelling from scratch at some stage (after attaining the appropriate training and certification to do so legally of course) and I’ve wondered if its common practice to build all walls, in their entirety, on the ground and then essentially tilt them up and screw them into place?
I see many builders putting up a basic frame and spend a long time cutting and screwing bracing, adding door frames, window frames, etc.
What is best practice? is there a reason to do things one way or another?
