So, due to my job I have to be very physically fit and capable, growing up I always a fat kid, and around my late teens I started weightlifting, I got really into and got pretty strong and gained muscle, I never ate very well during that, I kinda just ate whatever had protein and hit the gym. That caused me to plateau at a weight of 240 at 6ft. I then started a new job which required me to both get more athletic and fit and drop weight, and after a lot of work I got down to 170. At 170 i started to be able to see some abs, and I was feeling very fit and athletic, but after some time I’ve gained weight and am back at around 190-200. my belly has gotten noticeably bigger and ive lost muscle definition. Now thankfully I am one of those people whom are still pretty athletic even at a fatter size, so I can still run good and I still lift and such, but i just can’t control my eating. it’s like i’m helpless, i’m just controlled by hunger and urges. I try so hard to not eat bad, i track my calories and make weekly meal preps with good macros, but during the week that all goes to shit and I eat fast food. I try really hard to not do this but idk it’s like i’m addicted to it. Anyone else had this problem? any idea on what I can do to tackle it? that is besides having more willpower? Which i’m working on that lol.
