I'm sooooo worried I might've dislodged my blood clot.
I'm day 2 post operation, living on liquids and yogurts, no straws, no smoking, no solid foods, no heavy physical activity, but I got one (just ONE) sneeze making me suddenly taste blood, rinsed my mouth with salt water and lots of blood was out then I noticed this.
Is this what I think it is? Is this my dislodged blood clot? Do I now have a dry socket? I can't see the actual site because I can't open my mouth large enough. Is there any way to check other than visually?
There are stitches on the extraction site, is it possible that this is only a part of the clot and not all of it?
I'm biting on wet gauze now to ease the bleeding. Any tips, advice, or insight is appreciated.
It's pretty late here, I plan to go to the dentist tomorrow morning, but my stress can't be handled until tomorrow.
