All the 14 cinco pesos coins shown were rescued from two local coin stores. One LCS kept about 20 in a small bin with a few other 90% mexican coins, totally unprotected.

The other LCS was worse. There were at least 50 in a much larger bin with hundreds of 10% 30% 72%, and some 90% coins as well as about 50 una onzas. Some coins were protected if they were bought with flips or capsules.

Still, many had luster and light wear even if all of these appeared to have experienced some circulation and handling. I found several pristine una onzas.

I separated today's items into 3 groups based on my judgment of quality. Each group has 2 1947 coins priced with a slight premium.
