Hi! I read many times that promoting content on YouTube Studio might kill the organic growth of a channel and I never even considered trying it for fear.

Recently I asked the new AI assistant about it and it assured me it follows different metrics and it should not affect how the algorithm interacts with my content that is not being promoted, but let's face it, it is far from being impartial.

Do you have any experience on the matter? I would not mind investing a modest sum in my work, but I don't really trust the platform
