Klipsch R-40PM; or Edifier R1280DBs + T5 sub
Looking for some speakers for my small-ish living room turntable setup. I can get either of these options for around the same price (Edifier speakers + sub is a bit less than just the Klipsch speakers). Looking for simplicity (active speakers, not passive) and decent sound quality (meaning I don't consider myself a huge audiophile).
As I understand it, the Klipsch speakers are probably a decent amount better than the Edifier speakers, but will they still sound pretty good without a sub?
Should I just splurge a bit and get the Klipsch speakers with the T5 sub?
