I was reading book Excerpt from Dead Men Walking and I found a line that quote

>It was decreed that some of the trainees had become too comfortable with each other, so the platoons were reformed to split up old friends and new comrades alike.

So I got curious about Why Does this actually result in better quality of soldiers since I thought that soldiers that know and understand eachother should have better coordination than soldier that has same training but barely know eachother
