I am looking at getting back in the game. Last time I played I was 19 and it was at a decently high level, practiced 5-6 times a week and 2 games on the weekends for years. Now we are here +20 odd years later with stiff hips but slightly smarter and stronger.
How has it been for any old goalies coming back to the game regarding private classes. I had a thought that maybe it could be worth it's while to take a class just to get into the newer way of moving, rvh, new type of gear etc
I am sure I can still catch pucks but since the gear is obviously tuned differently then the early 2000s style I don't want to come out there knowing how it should look but not being able to do it.
Other then that I am still in a decent physical shape doing jiu-jitsu a few times a week with some weight lifting inbetween but I could for sure work on my flexibility
