Virginia - Former church deacon, 77, pleads guilty to making secret bathroom recordings at Colonial Williamsburg
From the Article - George Thomas West was charged in August with using his cell phone to record people without their consent at Colonial Williamsburg — with the 17 recordings capturing men’s genitals as they urinated. West, who police said filmed "thousands of males" in public restrooms since the 1990's near Colonial Williamsburg pled guilty to four felony charges — three counts of filming a nude person without their consent and one count of producing obscene material in order to sell it. He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge related to the possession. Before his arrest, West was a deacon at Union Baptist Church of Gloucester in Hayes. He was removed from his leadership role — and from church’s membership ranks altogether — following his arrest.
