It might be the lack of sleep, Or the culture shock.
But traveling on my own to japan (tokyo, kioto, osaka is the itinerary for the next two weeks). I have been busting my ass the past six months to get to a somewhat conversational level of japanese, I walked around ginza, got ramen at this tiny shop and was super good.
But i feel super isolated for some reason.
Anyone else have had similar experiences?
