Okay so I had forgotten about a pot of soup in my fridge, there it had sat undisturbed for probably around 3 months. Life had happened (funeral ect.)in between making and subsequently finding said pot again. And I couldn't help but notice that there was no mold and it smelled the exact same as when it was put into the back of the fridge. NOW I know it's definitely not safe for consuming, But i was curious if any of you would know why may not have overtly gone bad in the usual ways food does when left for so long. Thanks for reading ^^"
