How do you prioritize which issues to focus on?

I’m sure I’m not alone here in that I feel like I’m constantly playing whack a mole with EDS-related health problems. Various digestive issues, pelvic issues, unstable/painful joints, tendons snapping, psychiatric issues, hormonal issues, chronic headaches, fatigue, dizziness, etc.

I have decent health insurance luckily and I’m willing to go to doctors for things but at a certain point it’s like… how many medications and supplements do I want to be taking daily for the rest of my life? How much physical therapy can I do in a week? I don’t want my doctors to get sick of me or think I’m a hypochondriac coming in all the time. And I’m so exhausted. I feel like I need to pick and choose which joints to try to strengthen and then others get bad again and it’s an endless cycle. And I have so many mild-moderate problems that I just ignore because I can’t keep up with it all.

Have any of you figured out good approaches to successfully manage all your EDS-associated problems long term without making it your entire life?

Validation from my gynecologist?

“I’ve never seen a vagina this stretchy in someone who hasn’t given birth unless they have EDS”

Thanks doc. Nice way of saying things don’t feel very tight down there.
