All the best subs in Reddit history were born from a dumb comment. It was always an organic, crowdsourced, and high quality meme that floated to the top.
It was *natural.*
It was authentic.
And that's why I have loved Reddit for the past 14 years.
But these days, nobody uses markup or reddiquette anymore! It's so unnatural, and yet so expected. I know, the reason is Endless September, and it's Dead Internet Theory, and it's all bots, and yadda yadda...
But do you really believe that is the future? I'm curious.
My view is that people who believe in Reddit, like me, are now abandoning responsibility by allowing this culture shift.
**We need jesters to create new subs.**
We need trolls to **square** the circlejerk!
I **LOVE** Reddit.
I still believe in Reddit.
Do you?
