Hi everyone
With everything going on with fuel prices and flights at the moment, we’ve noticed a lot of people are looking closer to home for their holidays this year — which honestly, as Lake District locals, we completely understand!

We run a holiday cottage in Grange-over-Sands, which sits right on the edge of the Lake District. It’s a great base if you want easy access to the big hitters — Windermere, Bowness, Coniston, Cartmel — without being stuck in the middle of the tourist crowds.

Grange-over-Sands itself is a lovely, quieter town on Morecambe Bay that a lot of people overlook, which we think is part of its charm.

We’ve got some availability coming up for the summer, including last-minute dates if you’re the spontaneous type.

Happy to answer any questions about the cottage or the area — always glad to share local tips too 🙂
