How can an "asshole" change?

So you question yourself, and slowely but surely the fog starts lifting and what remains is that you are pretty much an asshole. And there is no "kindness" button, to fix everything. What's next?

Asshole: inconsiderate prick with narcissistic and sociopathic behaviour.

How alone are you really?

Are we living alone? With so many of us having cats and/or dogs, friends, objects that speak to us, I'm afraid we don't really know the meaning of being alone. I get it, that here it means not commiting, not sharing your HQ with a hominide, but I know that there are more levels of being alone. And those who are the most alone, are incapable of sharing their experience, 'cause you can't have internet and say you are alone, while connected to the rest of the world thru (almost) free communication possibilities. It's quite paradoxical, we could speak to almost anyone in the world (theoretically), yet we choose to lock ourselves in our "castles", isolating ourselves from the real world (where birds can poop on your forhead, and all sorts of things happen out of our control). I have no friends ,my aquintances don't gualify, because I have to hold back, when I'm with them, and even if we can have a great time together, it's very rare, a few times a year). At work I try to be nice to people, while keeping a very safe distance. But when I met you guys, and caught a few glimpses of other loners' lifes, it made me feel less alone. So, I feel like I'm cheating here, cause I'm not so alone after all. What about you?
