Browning On My Apple Tree

I planted an apple tree and a peach tree a few weeks ago. I live in East Central NC and we’re dealing with a drought for context. After they were planted, a few days later some of the leaves started to brown and one branch had completely brown leaves. However, the branches themselves were healthy and green, even the one full of brown leaves. There is even new growth, particularly on top of the sapling and triangular buds against the brown leaves. I read that if the branches themselves are healthy and green and the brown leaves are firmly attached I shouldn’t pull them off or cut the offending branch. My wife, however, thinks I should but I want to let the tree grow naturally and tend to it gingerly. I need some advice. I will provide pictures of the apple tree. The peach tree is fine, by the way.
