My wife is planning to enroll in a Dental Assistant program in Ontario (Level I and Level II), and we’re trying to understand what to expect before making a decision.
She’s a bit nervous about the certification exam, so I wanted to ask:
- How difficult is it to pass the Dental Assistant certification exam in Ontario?
- What’s the typical pass rate, and how much preparation is usually required?
- Are there any specific subjects or parts of the exam that students find most challenging?
- Any tips, study strategies, or resources that helped you pass?
Also, we’re currently on a temporary status but expect to get Permanent Residency (PR) in few months:
- Do tuition fees for these programs change significantly after getting PR (i.e., international vs domestic fees)?
Any advice, personal experiences, or insights would really help us make a more informed decision.
