Anyone see grey zone fragile x come up on your genetic testing? One of my alleles has 46 CGG repeats for the FMR1 gene, putting me in the intermediate gray zone. other Allele is normal at 31 CGG. 50% chance of passing the intermediate gene on. We have spoken to a genetic counselor and our doctor, we’re about to do IVF. Not sure what to do! We were originally planning to use one of my wife’s eggs for a child, then one of mine. (i’m carrying both). What have you done in these situations? TIA!

- Allele 1: 46 CGG repeats (intermediate/gray zone)

- Allele 2: 31 CGG repeats (normal)
