I'm looking for a new laptop for casual use and college work, nothing crazy just running Microsoft word, Firefox, stuff like that. I have a ASUS VivoBook right now I bought in 2018/19 and it has served me well for many years but everyday there's a new problem and it's performance is declining.

Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

- Id prefer only somewhere around 650-700 USD but if it seems worth my money I'll raise to about 800. And I'm in the United States.

Are you open to refurbs/used?

-I am, but I would rather a new and unused laptop.

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

- My priorities are that it is touchscreen and has a decent battery life.

How important is weight and thinness to you?

- I mean I'd rather have a lighter laptop but as long as I'm able to put it in my backpack or anything, weight and thinness doesn't matter.

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

- 12/14 inch

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

- At some point I know I will be running some sort of CAD program/3d mapping and modelling but I don't know what exactly

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

-I do want a good keyboard/input devices and touchscreen, everything else I don't care too much for either way.
