Hey, I'm looking for some advice.

I came to Portugal 2 years ago on a D8 visa and gained my residency permit. However, my situation has changed and I'm now looking to switch a D7 residency. My residency permit expires at the end of July. I saw this post and it looked like the person wanted to switch after his residency expired.

Has anyone been through this process? I've emailed AIMA asking for a in-person appointment (but have had no response yet), but would like to also speak to an immigration lawyer. If anyone can recommend someone, that would be greatly appreciated!
