Unfortunately for you, you died, but you made it into Heaven!

At least…you think so. There’s no fire or anything, but you’re standing in an impossibly long line stretching into the horizon. The walls and floor are marble, but the roof is open to an infinite dark.

You wait in the line for quite a while, but it doesn’t feel that long for some reason. At the end, you find an unassuming looking laptop with an application labeled ‘Life Selector’ running.

Within what looks like a Netflix-knockoff interface, an infinite number of pictures of wide variety of people are visible. One middle-aged man in a business suit seems to have died from a gunshot to the chest. An old samurai has a seppuku wound in his stomach. A young boy appears to have died in a car crash. Some filters at the top allow you to narrow the people down by age, sex, race, nationality, cause of death, birth year, and anything else you could possibly think of.

You quickly realize this app is to select what your next life is going to be. You can customize everything about its start and end, but not what comes in between. With all the variables you’re able to control, what do you choose? What does your ideal life look like? Don’t worried about making mistakes - you’ll be back here when you die.
