Had a recruiter schedule a “quick intro call” today.
Joined the meeting and there were 3 to 4 interviewers waiting to start a technical round immediately. No prior mention whatsoever.
When I asked if this was supposed to be technical, they said the team happened to be free so they thought they’d do it right away and it would be small like trying to convince me.
Instant leave from my side and I’m proud of myself that I didn’t give in to their BS and called them out on their behaviour. Opportunities Allah or dedega apne sath disrespect tolerate karne ka mathlab hai k ap or enable karenge.
Why do some companies think basic communication and scheduling etiquette are optional?
There is a special place in hell for Pakistani employers and their audacity. I’m beyond grateful that I can say no to opportunities, I literally wonder what do they do to people who are literally trying to support their families.
