Would an all green setup be dumb?
I’m piecing together a custom set one thing at a time. My favorite color is green so when I bought custom pads I went with all dark green and antique gold logos. I love them and think they look sick but not I’m worried I painted myself into a corner. My plan was to get matching pads and blocker. Currently my team used an off white for light jerseys which will look sick and purple darks which looks good with my pads and I think would look good with matching gloves. But we’ve been talking about adding a dark green jersey as a third jersey next season.
Would an all green setup look stupid? My pants would be the only non-green thing. I would love a set of tan but the closest ccm has is camel and it’s a little too orange for me. Plus the back of the gloves can’t do camel. It’s just beer league so my jersey doesn’t even have to be a certain color (as in I could wear a white jersey even though we’re darks for the game.) So I could just wear my purple jersey but I was stoked on having a dark green jersey too. Do I embrace the green monster look? Or should I just get white gloves with a little green added? I don’t have anything against white gloves but if I’m going custom I want them to look custom you know? Not doing the top level gloves that would give me more color options though cause I don’t need top of the line gear.
