Running has been the love of my life for most of my life. I ended up running to manage my heart condition too, but now the doc says it is time to replace my bad heart valve (had it since birth). I worry about not being to run as good anymore. I run my best PRs lately and I don’t have any symptoms so I have this likely irrational fear that I won’t ever run this good again. Also I am 24 so I have to accept that I won’t be that fast anymore at some point, I just really don’t want that to be now. Just looking for some positive experiences if any runners here have gone through similar…
