Hi all!

I am looking for some advice.

I’ve had my copper iud for almost 2 years and this month I am on day 12 of my period. It seemed like it was ended around day 6, but then I had sex and my period seems to have come back. It’s more then spotting but less heavy then it usually is. Not really sure what is going on, I have had an ultrasound saying that my iud was lower then normal and that I have cysts on one of my ovaries, but this was months ago and the dr was not concerned about any of this.

What do u guys think? Should I think about going on hormonal birth control?
